On 1st of March 1997 APS Gopalpur was established.
On 1st of April 1999 school got Affiliation as Middle School with CBSE Vide Affiliation No. CBSE/Aff/99/15360/8480-84 Dt. 29th Sept 1999.
The School upgraded as secondary school on 1st of April 2002 vide Affiliation No CBSE/Aff/15360/75-79-84 Dt. 17 April 2002 and extended up to 31/3/2010 Vide Affiliation no CBSE/Aff/15360/1530060/34706 Dt. 16 Dec 2004.
The School upgraded as senior secondary school with science stream Vide Affiliation No CBSE/Aff/1530060(SS-00809-1011)/2010/243449 Dt. 22 June 2010.
On first April 2011 the CBSE sanctioned for Commerce and Humanities Stream.
